It's almost... What? It's going to be three years soon that we were working and developing these products.
Doc, how has this happened that it's been-
Well, nothing good comes easy. Okay.
That's true. That's true.
So, it took us a while to kind of really sit down and really kind of figure out what it was that made good skincare products good.
Well, we started thinking, and throughout all our conversations and meetings we had, what is so important to us?
Right.
What's so important to our consumers? Then all of the patients that you speak to on a daily basis, all of the clients I've had, what is important to them? What are the issues?
We wanted to make the best possible products, right, and that takes time and it takes a little bit of trial and error, but I think we've got it right.
Yeah. And then with Smazy, everything just kind of fell into place because Smazy is smart and easy skincare, the way to buy skincare, the smart and easy way. But then we kind of, as we were talking, we said, this is actually three things. We want the skincare to be smart, we want it to be easy, meaning easy for the consumer to figure out, but then we have very savvy customers.
It's correct. I think people will come here who already know quite a bit about skincare products. We're going to get some newbies who are just learning this for the first time. But the consumer today is extremely discerning. I mean, they know more about the products than they did in any other generation.
Oh, yes.
And I think that's a testament to the knowledge base that's in the internet and the fact that people want to know what's in their products.
Right. So, that brings us to number one that was so important to us. And number one reason we created Smazy Skincare was because we wanted it to be smart.
Yes. Smart products are things that we know a certain design element's gone into. It's not just thrown together for the sake of putting it together because it's cheap, it's easy. No, it's smart. Right?
Yes.
So-
And we wanted to get rid of the harmful ingredients.
Well, that's smart, right?
Yes.
I mean, smart products do no harm to both the body or the environment.
Right.
Right. And so, I think that's where we began. We said, as a cornerstone, we want ingredients that are not harmful to the body, harmful to the environment, harmful in the production of them. And we wanted a product line that looks at that aspect as a cornerstone. So that we put into it. Right?
Yeah. So, that was number one. And then number two was we want it-

Some of these skincare lines, they have hundreds of products and they can become very confusing. Now, you do need certain niche products for niche patients, but we wanted to have something that's, basically, can be universally used. And now, as more and more products come out, there may be more specifics. But the easy part is to be able to not have an overwhelming [inaudible 00:03:10] material of choices, a few simple, effective products for good skincare on a daily basis.
Yeah. With clean and natural ingredients, that was so important to us. So the easy part is we want to help make it easier for you to choose by the education that we're giving to everyone and then helping you with the different skin type or skin condition and then choosing the right product for you.
Right. So smart, good products, easy, easy to understand. What else [crosstalk 00:03:37]?
And the third is savvy because a lot of women and consumers nowadays, like you had said, know so much about different ingredients, which is great because there's so much knowledge [crosstalk 00:03:47].
Well, they're not going to just take stuff on face value anymore. Right?
Yeah.
People really want to know what's in their stuff. And so the savvy consumer is somebody that we really like. The educated consumer is our best customer. The more they know, the more they understand that what we've created here is something that they're going to like.
Yeah. And savvy means the ability to make good judgements.
Sure.
So that's what we wanted to make sure that we were doing was making a good judgment with creating the brand and then making sure we were bringing to you something that was going to work really well for you without all the harmful ingredients.
We've done the hard work.
Oh, we did. We're still doing it, but there was years of a lot of work that we put into this and it's definitely been worth it I think.
